Boating
Canoe Tamar . Explore the beautiful Tamar Valley situated between Devon and Cornwall in one of England's last secret valleys. Whether you are an absolute novice and would like to have a quick trek on the moors or an experienced rider looking for an equestrian challenge there is plenty to do.

Motor Sports
Quads & off road karts, electric cars and zip race karts – try the Quad Centre at Menheniot Station, near Liskeard - 01579 347229. Also now encompassing Adrenaline Quarry, with one of the longest zipwires in Europe!
4x4 off road driving – Available in Callington. www.traxandtrails.co.uk. You can also combine this with Clay Pigeon Shooting and archery. Just choose one activity or let them put together a whole day’s activities for you and your friends to enjoy.
Watersports
From Bude to Polzeath and from Whitsand to Watergate, the opportunities for getting cold and wet are too numerable to mention. The best water-based adventure centre we have come across is a 4 minute walk from Glendorgal Sands in Lusty Glaze beach (still only 50 minutes from Trehill & Oakridge). Kit Hill – 3 miles
A wild, rugged granite hilltop famous for its fine views and fascinating mining history, tin, copper, tungsten and arsenic.
Newbridge and Cadsonbury – 3 miles
Walk downstream beside the River Lynher – and then start the climb to Cadsonbury – an Iron Age Hill Fort.
Lydford Gorge – National Trust – 6 miles
A famous gorge providing enchanting riverside walks. Includes White Lady Waterfall and the Devils Cauldron
Bodmin Moor – Golitha Falls – 4 miles
A delightful walk along the River Fowey.
Coastal Footpath – Plymouth Sound/Rame Head – 8/15 miles
Spectacular views of Plymouth, the Sound and Coastline.
Dartmoor – Bench Tor and River Dart – a hard 3 miles
A wild and strangely unfrequented walk.
Dartmoor – Various Walks of 8 – 20 miles
These walks are really only for the more serious walkers with some basic equipment – maps, walking boots, waterproofs, backpack etc. as the weather conditions on the High Moor can change rapidly. Some interesting walks can be tailored to your abilities.
